Jay Croft's Projects in 2007: Breaking Legs.

Breaking Legs by Tom Dulack

Journal Entries

Description

The worlds of the Mafia and the theatre clash hilariously when a professorial playwright seeks funding for his new play from the family of a former student. The "family" turn out to be minor mafia godfathers who are willing to underwrite the play provided they never have to read it. The fact that the lusty, unwed daughter of the house falls in love with the playwright only furthers his involvement with the Mob.

Biography

Alas another death. Jay is pleased to be dying once again on Kudzu's stage. Jay was seen dying here last season in And Then There Were None. Other plays Jay has not died in were Beau Jest and the Kudzu Family Playhouse production of Heidi. Other plays have been The Man Who Came to Dinner, Arsenic and Old Lace and The Sunshine Boys. Jay would first like to thank Jeannie Hinds for this opportunity. He would also like to thank his wife Tammy and their 4 kids (felines) for letting him out of the house.
